OF STUDENT PROJECTS PROGRAMME : 2011-2012
LIST OF BIOFUEL PROJECT PROPOSALS APPROVED FOR SPONSORSHIP
Note: The
sanction order for the project proposals listed below will be dispatched to
respective engineering colleges
in the name
of Principal and copy to HOD and concerned Guide of the project.
Important: Please read the guidelines
to carryout the projects.
The following are the guidelines to carryout the project work:
a.
The project should
be performed based on the objectives of the proposal sent by you.
b.
The project should
be completed in all respects and a) Two copies of the hardbound report b)
Softcopy of the full report in a CD (.doc and .pdf format) c) A poster in Flex
(2 x 3') for display should be submitted
to KSCST.
c. The Project Report
shall mention the name of "Karnataka State Biofuel Development Board" as
Sponsored Organisation. Any change in the project title and objectives, etc., or students is liable to
rejection of the project and the amount sanctioned needs to be returned back to
KSCST.
Please quote your
project sanctioned reference number in all your future
correspondences.
d.
Important: After completing
the project, 2 to 3 page write-up (synopsis) in MS Word needs to be sent via email [spp@kscst.iisc.ernet.in] consisting
of the following points:
1.
Title of the project
2.
Name of the College
& Department
3.
Name of the students
& Guide(s) (with email id and cell no. if any)
4.
Keywords
5.
Introduction /
background (with specific reference to the project, work done earlier, etc) -
about 20 lines
6.
Objectives (about 10
lines)
7.
Methodology (about
30 lines) (materials, methods, details of work carried out, including drawings,
diagrams etc)
8.
Results and
Conclusions (about 20 lines with specific reference to work carried out)
9.
Scope for future
work (about 20 lines).
Note: The softcopy of the above said write-up in MS
Word format should be forwarded to email id (spp@kscst.iisc.ernet.in)
through the
project guide indicating the project proposal reference number in the
subject line.)
e. The evaluation of projects will be carriedout in the nodal centre. The
student team needs to exhibit / demonstrate their project in the nodal centre.
The place and date of nodal evaluation will be intimated.
f.
Projects selected
for Seminar and Exhibition will be awarded with prize books & certificates.
The sanctioned amount will be sent separately by our Accounts Department. As
soon as the students complete the project, please let us know your convenient
dates for arranging evaluation in the nodal centre.
The sponsored projects
evaluation will be held in the Nodal Centre.
The Nodal
centre will be in one of the engineering college at the regional level.
It
is mandatory for a sponsored project to demonstrate their project out-comings at
the nodal centre.
The list
of nodal centre will be communicated to the Principal of respective engineering
colleges shortly.
The project should be
completed in all respects and two copies of the hardbound report along with
softcopy
of the full report in a CD (.doc and .pdf format) should be submitted to KSCST.

title and objectives, etc., or students is liable to rejection of the project
and the
amount sanctioned needs to be returned back to KSCST.
After completion of the project, brief summary (about 2 pages) as per the format
indicated
above (d) needs to be sent via email (spp@kscst.iisc.ernet.in).
